Pax Kinderhulp aims to help vulnerable children. These children are offered a holiday with Dutch holiday families or at a group accommodation. This concerns children who live in difficult circumstances due to war, natural disasters, poverty and social deprivation.

In addition, Pax Kinderhulp has been active in Iraq since 2015. This country still has millions of refugees, about 800.000 of whom are children. Pax Kinderhulp offers them material support.

The world stands still at the news: “We can no longer do anything for your child…”.

The donation-financed Sternenbrücke children’s hospice helps terminally ill children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 27 to be able to walk a dignified path until their death. The sick young people and their relatives are not only treated in the last phase of life, but also during the course of the illness, which often lasts for many years as part of the Respite care carefully accompanied in the children’s hospice. Targeted offers stabilize the family system and help those involved to gain strength and find relaxation. Even after the loss of the child, Sternenbrücke continues to support the families in their grief.

Our goal is to enhance the quality and increase the accessibility of safe, sustainable and dignified housing opportunities. We wish to be changemakers in the construction sector, architecture and design, so that we can live better lives in our homes, offices and cities. We work with material reuse. We facilitate local social initiatives and humanitarian aid efforts.

As of now, we continue to dig deeper into the world of material reuse and help efforts in Ukraine. As long as there is war, our priorities are clear – we will do every thing we can to help those who lost their homes. Reuse is a chance to do so.

Foundation was established in 2008. Since then, we have divided among non-profit organizations helping older people over 31 million Czech Crowns. As part of our own “Home without Worries” project, we have helped thousands of older persons to live in dignity at home. We regularly participate in international conferences, and we have presented our work several times at the UN. In our small team you will find professional social workers who are always learning from their clients and who will always be flexible and individual to help the older persons as their situation demands.
